About Me
I was born and raised in the Edmonton area (rural Stony Plain to be precise). Always a creative and crafty child, I dabbled in many artistic mediums but found a love for drawing. Art class was my favorite all throughout school, and I could frequently be found working on my art long after school was dismissed. I was the recipient of the Fine Arts Award in high school, but unfortunately art was not a priority while I completed post-secondary and started a career in healthcare. During that time, I did not outgrow my love for creating and was keen to return to art in some form.
I have been extremely fortunate to travel the world and visit many art galleries and destinations all around the globe. I gather inspiration wherever I go, but especially love nature and places or objects that I find beautiful or meaningful.
My first professional watercolor class was with the brilliant Willie Wong. This experience reignited my love for creating art and solidified watercolor painting as an important outlet and fixture in my life. Since then, I have been continually learning, practicing, and doing custom art for family and friends. I am thrilled to put my work out into the world and share it with a wider audience. I look forward to creating more unique pieces!
